Earn RD

RD is the protocol's stablecoin. Holding RD alone does not earn a return. To earn RD within the protocol, choose where to put capital to work:

RD rewards reach Stability Pools, LP staking, and MOAI staking. Keeper rewards are a separate automated path described below.
Earning pathMain sourceAlso earnMain consideration
Stability PoolsA share of that branch's borrow interest.MOAI emissions; collateral from liquidations.RD deposit can shrink during liquidations.
LP stakingA share of all branches' borrow interest.MOAI emissions; pool swap fees.Requires RD/USDC or RD/USDT liquidity.
MOAI stakingA share of all branches' borrow interest.N/AMOAI lockup: 7, 30, or 60 days.

Borrow interest is the main RD source. Each branch shares it with its Stability Pool. The remainder, plus RD redemption and early-repayment fees, funds keepers, LP staking and MOAI staking. Shares vary with utilization; bad-debt repair can temporarily reduce the MOAI-staker share. See Fees for the routing.

Keeper bots can also earn RD for rewarded upkeep, such as drips, controller updates and eligible branch shutdowns. This is a competitive, automated role rather than passive staking; see Keeper rewards.

These are different positions, not three interchangeable RD deposits: Stability Pools absorb liquidations, LPs supply the RD market, and MOAI stakers hold and lock a different token. FLX staking earns MOAI, not RD directly. For the token's basic mechanics, see RD.
